Waiting at YYZ, no more circling!

Did you know that there is a waiting area at Pearson International Airport in Toronto so you don’t have to circle or pay for parking?

Instead of having a sign that says "waiting area so you don’t have to circle" they have the internationally recognized sign of a cell phone and a P.

Photo1To get to the waiting area you follow the road as if you were leaving the airport. Before the road splits to the 401 and 427 there is an offramp on the left. Take it. If you were going to circle you would get off, make two lefts and be on your way back to the airport. But instead of turning onto the onramp to return, follow the cell+P sign into the waiting area. It is free and you just have to hope the person you are waiting for has a mobile phone to call you with to let you know when to pick them up!
