Recently a new salad place opened up on Yonge Street between College and Gerrard called Salad Creations. Only around the corner from our usual haunt Lettuce Eatery.
Salad Creations is a little more comfortable to eat in at. The space is quite large with plenty of seats which is opposite of most of the Lettuce Eatery locations.
If you eat in, they do give you an option for a real bowl and cutlery which is nice, and of course more Green.
Like any salad place they have ore made salads but they also have the make your own style. Of course I made my own.
They have two sizes of salad, Full for 7.99 and Jr. for 5.99. The Full comes with unlimited toppings from a choice of 40+. The Jr. comes with 4 toppings and any extra is 0.50.
The toppings do include cheeses but do not include meat and tofu. So chicken is an additional 2.50. They do offer grilled salmon too which is a nice option.
It isn’t very busy this evening but many of their toppings were close to finished so I thinking that they are busier at lunch or earlier around dinner.
They are still working out the kinks, but my salad has been tasty so far. And much larger than Lettuce Eatery.
They offer combos with soup with a drink too. Brad said the soup was good.
Oh and make sure the salad creator takes the avocado out of the skin first! Brad’s creator must have been new and he was close to chopping it all up!
