Dinner at Old Florida Seafood.

On Gavin and Billy’s glowing recommendation of their warm and moist blueberry muffins we ended up at Old Florida Seafood here in Ft. Lauderdale. On walking in I was transported back to Vegas with red leather booths and career waitresses. The food did not disappoint. It is too late to try and get in shape for the cruise, so I guess I better start exercising to counteract all the food this coming week.

The first person to guess what this is gets clogged arteries!
Yes, this is the pad, I mean scoop of butter, that was brought with 4 pieces of bread and two blueberry muffins. Halfway through dinner our fantastic waitress asked us if we needed more butter. We said no.

Every meal comes with the following: choice of salad, soup or coleslaw. Then we had to choose from baked potato, potato salad, twice baked, or mashed. Then we had to choose from steamed broccoli, snap peas, and 3 other veggie choices I can’t remember. They definitely have many food options.

Brad had a twin tail lobster that as he says was “easy to eat”. Yes, not one lobster, but two lobsters for $32. What a steal!

I had the shrimp and scallop dinner. It was way too much, but really good.

To wrap up our dinner we asked for two more blueberry muffins. We named them Gavin and Billy. And then we ate them.
