The Highline

After hearing about the Highline for a while, we were able to finally get our butts onto it. The Highline is a raised railroad track that the city has transformed into a really cool walkway with benches, vegetation and beautiful views of the city.

We ended up going just after sunset so we were able to get some pictures. The walk was so nice, I loved looking at the surrounding condos and peering into their windows to see what is going on. Brad was thinking it would just be a boring path, but there are different sections with neat seating looking at different views, a place for refreshments and talking water fountains! When you press the button for water it starts talking about the importance of drinking water. Kinda neat!
