Uncle Jack's Steakhouse

2011-11-04

Friday night after being denied into Nobu 57, and no not because we aren't cute enough, but because the wait was atrocious, we went to Uncle Jack's Steakhouse.

The restaurant itself seems pretty old school. Dark and woody with a old steakhouse feel. We were taken upstairs where it wasn't too busy, but that changed pretty quick. Being on P90X but also being on vacation we were a little more lenient with our menu choices.

I started out with their "famous" mozzarella and tomato salad. This was delish. Apparently they have mozzarella brought over from Italy twice a week. The tomatoes were good too!

Now this is where it gets fun. Since we are on a protein focused diet steak is high on the list of what we love to eat. We ordered the Porterhouse steak... a bone in steak with a filet on one side and a strip on the other. They come to the table and cut it for you.

It was delicious. And filling. We also ordered steam broccoli and a massive baked potato to share.
