Victoria Room for Dinner

Last night after some searching we ended up with a friend at the Victoria Room. A tropical / Victorian fusion of place, we had no problem getting a table which seems to be hard during the holiday week in this city. The food is all tapas and meant to be shared. 

According to our waitress, the bar was backed up so we didn't get our drinks until after we had started eating, but the food was tasty enough to overlook it.

Some of the dishes we ordered:

• Turkish bread with dips
• Spicy Moroccan style meatballs
• Fried haloumi (cheese)
• Fried goats cheese balls with onion jam & truffle infused honey
• Crispy kipfler potatoes
• Caramelised spicy chorizo

All the food was quite delishous. 

For dessert we opted to head next door to the gelato place for an awesome sweet treat. I had Bloor Orange Gelato and Brad had a 2 scoops, one of Salted Caramel with White Chocolate and Apple Pie.
