Sore and achy with P90X

After four days of P90X we are sore. Like it hurts to get into the car, out of the car, walk to the bathroom... Every muscle in my body seems to ache.
So far we have completed only 3 workouts:
- Chest and Back
- Plyometrics (lots of jumping)
- Arms and shoulders
Today we will be attempting Yoga, 1.5 hours of it. And let's not forget the two rounds of Ab Ripper X that we have completed. 18 minutes of Ab work is 18 minutes too long.
The workouts are extremely draining at one hour long each. At this point some of the exercises are just too much but we are trying our hardest to finish. Hopefully that will change over the weeks.
Eating is going well. We are totally committing to following the diet plan, including a trip to Costco for lots of meat. This morning I made an egg white omelette with low fat mozzarella and mushrooms with turkey bacon [2 x protein, 1 x vegetable, and 1 x dairy]. So far, despite the constant body aches, I'm feeling quite energized. Looking back on the week I haven't even needed a nap. I'm assuming this is the direct result of the lack of carbs... But honestly, I'm not even missing them... Yet. I am allowed 1 unit of carb a day which is equivalent to a medium bagel or 1 cup of brown rice. Enough to keep me sated.
So with 86 days left, we are going strong...
