I was on such a role, blogging every day or couple of days. Well things have been busy, very busy. Being the sole employee and having the freedom to work at home is not as luxurious as it sounds. Sure, I can lunch occasionally and go to the gym at non-peak hours, and have a mid day nap, but I have been working from 8am until the wee hours of the morning the majority of these past weeks.

I am grateful for all the work and I definitely wouldn't change it, but it does give me less time to blog, experiment with new recipes or just hang around.

One thing that was on my to-do list that was non client related was to update my own aki creative web site. So late Friday night I felt like I should take a couple hours for myself and I put together the new site. With the increase of clients bringing work to aki creative, it is much more important for me to provide more information without me having to re-iterate it in email. So the site is still a work in progress as far as content goes, but I have the new design in place. A lot cleaner and better organized. I currently don't have my client list up, I'm on the fence if I should add it. I may just add in client examples and I'll change it periodically as I update or create more sites. We'll see.

One of the sites I have been making a lot of changes to is Art Interiors. They are an affordable original art gallery located here in Toronto. This is their 15th year in business and their 15th Festival of Smalls is starting next week. So I expanded their site to include an online catalogue that is growing daily as we add more art. Soon we will be accepting online purchases also for those not living in Toronto.

Anyway, hopefully I can get a little more regular with the posts, but bear with me as I get through this busy time.

In the ten years that I have been in business I have gone through quite a few logos, some are good, some I just don’t know what I was thinking. But hopefully I have come to a final design that will carry me through another ten years. I have always been keen on clean fonts, orange and text based logos. So take a look. And let me know what you think.
