I have been in Vancouver since Sunday night and really haven’t had anything to report. I’m busy working (continuously) so time has just flown by. The weather here has been unusually cold and we have had some big dumps of snow, which is so unlike Vancouver. Although I do prefer the snow to the bone chilling damp rain that I’m normally greeted with at this time of year. Luckily there is nowhere that I need to be except home because driving on snow covered Vancouver streets is horrific.

I did make go for dinner with my mom in White Rock for some very tasty sushi. Even though Vancouver is generally known for having great sushi, I’m finding it harder and harder to find good eats. So many of the places that we have frequented in the past we no longer go to because the quality has gone down. And the last thing you want to eat is fishy fish. And I’m half Japanese, I have high standards!

Yesterday I went to Nicki’s house to hang with Val, Sara, Michelle and all the little kiddies. It was great to hang out with all the little tots and play around with them. They are all so cute!

Tomorrow Brad arrives after his flight got changed today and that is when the fun begins. We have dinners, gingerbread house making, and Nana arriving and then of course the gifts.. I mean Christmas.

So I’m in Vancouver… and it seems like this has been the month of babies! First off I got to see my cousin Keri’s son, Ben… so adorable. He just learned to scream but I made him giggle… My best friend Nicki had a baby two weeks ago name Taylor, he doesn’t do much except sleep, eat and poop. He’ll be more fun around Christmas. Dana and her baby Sophie, a couple of posts down, and of course my friend Gulrukh in Toronto just had baby Aydan. If I was a women, I would be feeling my biological clock ticking… but I like to travel and be lazy just a little too much!!!
