They are up! We have received our photos from our good friend Mavreen David who also acted as our photographer. A big thank you to her! We know we had bad lighting but we couldn’t be happier with the pictures!

If you want to view in Flickr, click here. If you want to download or print any of the photos feel free to. (I’ve always wanted to see my face on a Times Square billboard.) Simply click on ALL SIZES above the image and you can download the larger version of the pictures.

Also, all the photos are tagged so if you click on a name (at the right side of the page) it will show you all the pictures that person is in.

Have some time? Here is a video of our ceremony and speeches. It is divided into three movies.

I have been in Vancouver since Sunday night and really haven’t had anything to report. I’m busy working (continuously) so time has just flown by. The weather here has been unusually cold and we have had some big dumps of snow, which is so unlike Vancouver. Although I do prefer the snow to the bone chilling damp rain that I’m normally greeted with at this time of year. Luckily there is nowhere that I need to be except home because driving on snow covered Vancouver streets is horrific.

I did make go for dinner with my mom in White Rock for some very tasty sushi. Even though Vancouver is generally known for having great sushi, I’m finding it harder and harder to find good eats. So many of the places that we have frequented in the past we no longer go to because the quality has gone down. And the last thing you want to eat is fishy fish. And I’m half Japanese, I have high standards!

Yesterday I went to Nicki’s house to hang with Val, Sara, Michelle and all the little kiddies. It was great to hang out with all the little tots and play around with them. They are all so cute!

Now I’m cool, and more environmentally friendly. Thanks to Gav I have a new JWT Aluminum water bottle. Isn’t it pretty? (We got two so you get one too Brad!)

I was reading that although that aluminum is 100% recyclable (and of course you won’t get poisoned by it like you do plastic) it does take a lot more resources to actually process the aluminum than plastic. A lot of the aluminum is moved around the world to different locales during the manufacturing process which in turn takes a lot more energy and resources than making the plastic bottles.

Was it me? Did I start this trend in the family? Maybe not… but hey, I’ll take credit for anything. My sister is now a blogger too. Her blog is a little more focused then mine, it focuses on her path to healthiness, and her method… Running. Her husband Brian is quite a runner and a triathlete. And it looks like his influence is paying off! Julie is a very hard working and has a hellish commute so it is quite an accomplishment that she will be committing to exercising after work.

All the best Julie!!! I look forward to all of your updates. Maybe you need a Wii Fit to help with your workout!

Read her blog here… of course after reading the rest of my randomness.

On the boat cruise we were on Thursday, one of our friends Kirsty brought a Polaroid camera! How retro. Did you know that you aren’t supposed to shake a Polaroid picture? Unlike the Outkast song, I was told you aren’t supposed to shake the picture after it is done. It actually needs warmth so under the old armpit or your inner thigh if naked works quite well to help it develop.

But this is all a moot point because Polaroid no longer makes the camera’s or the films. So if you have a Polaroid camera, I guess you have to hunt around to find some film in the back of grandma’s closet. We were very happy that Kirsty thought we were Polaroid worthy enough to use one of her films on us!
